فيما يخص الوضع في العراق ومعركة القضاء على زمر داعش والأرهاب
عدد من المحاور المهمة ااتي تناولها خطابه فيما يخص الشأن العراقي في مواجهة الأرهاب:-
أميركا قررت زيادة عدد المستشاريين العسكريين للقوات الخاصة التي سيرسلوها للعمل مع القوات العراقية في معركة القضاء على الأرهاب. تقريباً 300 متخصص عسكري يعملون بشكل مباشر مع قيادة القوات العراقية قريباً. هذه تٌعد خطوة مهمة وكبيرة يجب على القيادة العسكرية العراقية أستثمارها في معركة القضاء على الأرهاب وفصائله.
غرفة عمليات مشتركة في بغداد وواشنطن لتقييم ومراقبة تحركات (الأرهابيين) في مناطق العراق لرسم ستيراتيجية عسكرية مستقبيلة للقضاء على الأرهاب وفصائله. من الممكن إن يصار الى توسيع العمل من خلال غرفة العمليات المشتركة هذه لخلق دائرة تعاون دولي لدعم معركة القضاء على الأرهاب.
العراق يٌعد بلد مستقل وهو من يختار قادته من خلال نتائج الأنتخابات , وهذا يبدد مزاعم البعض في إن أمريكا أشترطت عزل المالكي لكي تقدم المساعدة.
كما أكد على أن السياسيين العراقيين يجب إن يعوا خطورة الموقف, وإن يكونوا جزء من الحل لهذه الأزمة.
نرى من وجهة نظرنا بأن على الحكومة العراقية أستثمار الجوانب الأيجابية لهذه الخطوات من قبل الجانب الأمريكي – والتي تنصب في مصلحة البلد من خلال خلق دائرة تعاون أيجابي مكثف لتوضيح الصورة الحقيقية لواقع حال العراق وتضييع الفرصة على من حاول ولازال رسم صورة غير حقيقية للآزمة في العراق وكأن مايحصل الأن في العراق من هجمات أرهابية للدواعش القذرين وغيرهم تمثل التوجه السني لمحاربة الدولة وحكومته مايطلقون عليه بشكل سخيف “مقاومة شعبية” … الأن أصبح الساسة العراقيين في كل تواجتهم (شيعية, كردية, سنية, وغيرهم) تحديد مواقفهم من هذه الهجمات الأرهابية (هل هي تمثل مكون معين ؟) أم أننا جميعاً نتصدى لها وبشكل وطني ؟

America has decided to increase the number of military advisors to the Special Forces that will be deployed to work with Iraqi forces in the battle to eradicate terrorism. Nearly 300 military specialist working directly with the leadership of the Iraqi forces soon. Now; Iraqi politicians in all no matter what they represent (Shiia’a, Kurdish, Sunni, and others) to determine their stands of these terrorist attacks ( Are they represent a particular sect ?) or we all confront and stand as one national?
